Debra Alfarone is Murray's mom, and an award-winning journalist, and host of the national show The Good Side, where she shares uplifting stories of hope, kindness, and resilience. Through her podcast and social media, she encourages women to dream bigger and ask boldly. Murray and his brother Baxter inspire her every day.

Josh Silverman is Murray's dad and an educator and entrepreneur specializing in virtual SAT and ACT preparation. He loves dogs, teaching, and travel. When not taking Murray and his brother Baxter on long walks, he helps students in the US and around the world get into their dream schools.
